Powerpoint slides can be corrected by: Not reading word for word the powerpoint not a teleprompter Provide a handout to take away at end of presentation Convince and persuade people to agree, aka “buy” your presentation 5 rules for amazing powerpoint: no more than 6 words per slide use professional images only use transitions with a purpose that enhance the delivery or message use high quality sounds and effects Provide hand outs but NOT the slide hand outs because they are just bullet points What I need to fix: I need to minimize my word count Review my transitions…. i feel like if more bullet points were listed per slide, some slides could have been combined, subsequently reducing the amount of total slides.
